"Gangnam Style" debuted at number one on the Gaon Chart, the national record chart of South Korea. As of October 7, 2012, the music video has been viewed over 394 million times on YouTube, making it the site's most watched K-pop video, and the site's ninth most viewed video of all time.

No YouTube app on the next iOS software update

I've been surfing the web and discover many news about the upcoming software update from Apple.

They say that the next iOS software update will not come with a pre-installed YouTube application for the iPhone and iPad. Instead, users can still able to play YouTube videos in the Safari browser.

YouTube was one of the original iPhone's main features, pushing Google to re-encode the entirety of the popular video hosting service's library so that it could work without Adobe's Flash.

Google Inc., which owns YouTube, is now working on a downloadable app. YouTube app will be back... but in a standalone form, not as a home-screen default.

Apple released the following statement:

Our licensing to include the YouTube app in iOS has ended. Customers can use YouTube in the Safari browser and Google is working on a new YouTube app to be in the App Store.

The next iOS software update will set this Fall 2012.
